Iran Launches Widespread Attacks on US Bases, Key Sites in Arab States

(MENAFN) Compiled figures released early Monday suggest that Iran has carried out no fewer than 5,471 missile and drone strikes aimed at US military bases and key infrastructure across seven Arab nations since Feb. 28, according to reports.

As hostilities between Iran and US-Israeli forces persist, a wide range of strategic locations throughout the Gulf region have reportedly come under repeated attack.

Based on information gathered from defense authorities and official communication centers in the affected countries, the United Arab Emirates appears to have experienced the highest level of activity. Its defense ministry reported intercepting 414 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,914 drones since the escalation began.

In Kuwait, authorities stated that 309 ballistic missiles and 616 drones were successfully intercepted, according to official updates from government and military sources.

Meanwhile, Bahrain reported neutralizing 174 missiles along with 391 drones during the same period, as confirmed by its defense command.

In Qatar, officials indicated that 206 ballistic missiles and 93 drone strikes had targeted the country.

The armed forces in Jordan recorded a total of 262 missile and drone incidents linked to the ongoing conflict.

Saudi Arabia reported that its territory was targeted by at least 52 missiles and 1,006 drones.

Additionally, Oman said it had been targeted by 19 drones.

The escalation follows the launch of a military offensive by Israel and the United States on Feb. 28. According to reports, the conflict has so far resulted in more than 1,340 deaths, including Ali Khamenei.
